After months of anticipation, we are delighted to open our doors and welcome you to Le Foyer — Bendigo’s newest destination for refined French dining.
Nestled in the heart of the city in Queen Street, Le Foyer is more than a restaurant. It is a place of gathering, of comfort, of celebration — where every detail, from the ambient lighting to the aromas dior, is designed to transport you.
A home for French cuisine in regional Victoria
Le Foyer, meaning “the hearth” in French, reflects our vision: to create a warm, elegant space where timeless culinary traditions are honoured and shared. Our menu draws on classic French technique, elevated with seasonal Victorian produce and a contemporary touch. Expect familiar favourites reimagined with care and craft.
But the experience extends beyond the plate. The interiors of Le Foyer are designed to evoke a Parisian salon — plush textures, soft lighting, and quiet sophistication that invites you to linger. Whether it’s a long lunch, a romantic dinner, or a glass of Burgundy at the bar, we’ve created a space that feels both luxurious and welcoming.
Our opening week
We’ve been deeply moved by the warmth and excitement of the Bendigo community. In our opening week, we’ve had the pleasure of serving new neighbours, curious travellers, and lovers of French cuisine — all gathered to share in good food and conversation.
We are now taking bookings for dinner Tuesday to Wednesday, and lunch and dinner Thursday to Saturday. Private events and celebrations are also available by enquiry.
